Culture & Environment

At Capstone Engineering Academy our students, staff and school community share the responsibility of building a safe, positive, inclusive, equitable and welcoming learning environment. Our school reflects a unified STEM culture of inclusion and safe environment. If you have any questions about how we work together within our school to build positive learning environments for student success, please contact us directly.

Health & Wellness at Capstone Engineering Academy

At our school we believe in a community approach to health and wellness. Along with the curriculum we believe in nutritious food; healthy relationships; physical activity; and positive mental health

Code of Conduct

The Capstone Engineering Academy Code of Conduct regulations apply to all of our students. As each student enters our school they will be given a copy of the regulations and are expected to follow them.

They outline the roles and expectations for our students to promote positive and inclusive learning environments, help students to develop empathy and become good citizens both within and outside of the school community, and explain the consequences when a student’s disruptive behaviour negatively affects the learning environment.

Technology Tools

Students are welcome to bring their personal electronic devices to school and should understand how the device works. Learning devices are subject to approval by the school and teacher. All devices not used for learning should be kept stored while in class.

There is no requirement for students to bring their own device. Students will have access to devices at the school needed to support their learning.

Students must use their device responsibly, respect others and are responsible for any devices they bring to school. The school is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
