Capstone Engineering Academy is an accredited private school with deep roots in the Calgary Community. We started 10 years ago with Roots 2 STEM providing STEM education to families and schools. With Roots 2 STEM we reached out to 1600 new students every year. All the curriculum we have built and taught over ten years, we are using as a foundation to build a better school. More experiential learning with hands-on projects immersed in Engineering and Technology using the Science and Math we know.
Roots 2 STEM is now the outreach program for Capstone Engineering Academy providing Summer Camps, after-school programs, Maker Faire Calgary and more. Roots 2 STEM is world renowned by supporting STEM programs in South America, Asia and we are building to help Classrooms without Walls. This year we have international students from Taiwan and Japan preferring to come to our Lab of Discovery, rather than go to US programs.
Our school is now a technology partner with many schools in the Calgary and growing throughout Alberta. We continue to develop new programs and partnerships in our community. Capstone Engineering Academy is expanding into Northern Canada with industry partners to bring Engineering & Technology courses to Inuit and Indigenous youth.
